Snoopy Coaster Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Snoopy Coaster is Chillingo’s new endless runner/roller coaster game based around the Peanuts characters, and it’s one of the more fun Peanuts games to have come around on iOS. Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and the others all ride along in a coaster that can jump, drop, collect coins and go around the loop-the-loops, all while trying to set new records as to how far you can go. Read on for some tips and tricks for Snoopy Coaster!

You will go to a new area each time that you go 1,000 meters. Sometimes, though, when you’re in the thousand meter coin cave, you’ll come across a kite. If you jump and grab the kite, you’ll go to a bonus stage where you can get even more coins. To control the kite, tap and hold the screen to go up and let go of the screen to go down. If you fall off the stage here, you’ll simply go back to the regular stage, without losing any wrenches.

As a general rule in Snoopy Coaster, jump at the last second to hit the next platform in the most reliable way possible. Also, hold your finger down on the screen and you will jump even higher. If you jump at the last second to a higher track, but there’s no gap in between, you’ll actually jump THROUGH the railing holding the track up, and you’ll pop up on the platform.

If you want to go the farthest distance possible with no care for points (since points don’t do much of anything anyways) don’t twirl your finger in a circle when you hit the loop-the-loop. Just let yourself go through it and come out the other side. Only twirl your finger though if you want points because it will add points, but not distance.

Also, watch out for the big coins, and for the tracks that contain the big coins (usually it’s one track running almost parallel to the track that you’re on). Jump to the track and you’ll be able to collect 5 big coins in a row, which are worth 5 coins and 20 points each.
