Despicable Me: Minion Rush FAQ, Walkthrough and Beginner’s Guide, Part 3

The Mega Minion and the Fluffy Unicorn games are two games in which you’ll control the game by tilting your device, not by swiping. Tilt the phone sideways to move your character to the left or to the right. You’ll also use this method of control when you hit the green half-pipe in the middle of the stage. Your goal in this part of the stage is to tilt the phone so that you don’t fall off, and so that you can collect as many bananas as possible.

In addition, there are two different actual stages that you run through. One of them is the lab, while the other is the residential area. The main difference (aside from more mobile obstacles and different visuals in the residential stage) is the bosses. Vector is the boss in the lab while Meena is the boss in the residential stage.

Each of them will launch two different types of robots at you. The bigger ones have to be avoided, while the smaller ones, with targets on them, can be tapped and launched at Vector or Meena. After enough hits with the small bots (2 for Meena and 3 for Vector), you’ll beat them and continue on with your regularly scheduled stage.

Of course, you’ll also randomly hit side-scrolling areas, mostly in the Lab. Your goal here is simply to slide under or jump over obstacles since you can’t swipe sideways.

Secret zones are another fun thing that pops up, mostly in the lab area. Wait until you come up to an area where you have to either turn right or turn left (not a fork in the road, but a road where only one path is a turn). Usually, the path on the other side will have a clear pipe connecting to it, which, if you run into it, will take you to the secret zone. The secret zone is a great way to earn more bananas, as well as to kill time and add to your score.
