Welcome to part 5 of the War of Nations beginner’s guide! Click here to go back to part 4 of the guide.
You can send out multiple armies from the same command center, 1 per each upgrade level (a level 4 command center can send out 4 armies). Sending out a ton of armies at a time is recommended for if you want to drain someone’s morale rapidly or to decimate their number of troops, since each time they get attacked, they will recover at least 50 percent of the troops that they destroyed. This goes for your destroyed troops too.
The missions tab will give you a number of quests that you can do, which will give you a good guide on what to do in order to advance in the game, as well as a chance to earn resources, power cores, power cells and other items. You have to hit “claim” before you actually get the stuff. The various items, including the resource packs, will be available in the “items” tab when you earn them.
There are new limited time missions, as well, which run out after a certain number of time. They consist of a chain of quests, each with their own rewards, but if you complete every single one of the quests before the time runs out, you’ll earn a HUGE reward, such as a super rare and very powerful commander.
You can buy a number of items if you have the gold to do so. Various buffs give you new commanders, commander experience points, more energy or stars for your commanders. The speedup store will allow you to cut time off of your various tasks by using speedup buffs. Resource packs can load you up with resources without you having to wait for your buildings to produce them. The bronze, silver and gold crates give you random items – the more precious the metal, the better the item will usually be. The base shield will put you back into protection mode, giving you immunity for 12 to 24 hours, depending on which boost you buy. There are other items too, such as the morale boosters.
Your profile is where you can change your username – however, you can only change your username once out of every seven days. In the “ranking” tab, you can see how you rank amongst the others.
Finally, and most importantly, you can join an alliance in order to pool your resources and your troops. You can send your troops over and another player can use them for attack and defense purposes, and they can do the same thing for you.
That’s all for War of Nations! Enjoy the game!
