Heroes War is a new role playing game for the iPhone and other iOS systems, starring one thuggish guy who becomes an accidental hero, and a group of other superheroes as they quest in the pursuit of NeoStones. You can play in quests in order to advance the story, go through dungeons, and even play in the PvP mode against other players and their teams. Read on for some tips and tricks for Heroes War for iOS!
Early on you will need to power up your characters, or else you’ll start losing and getting stuck in dungeons (and later on, quests, too). The easiest and cheapest way to power up your characters is to simply play multiple quest and dungeon levels over and over, ones that you can easily win, get equipment, equip it, and then power each piece of equipment up once or twice. Once you get to the third upgrade, which costs 400 gold, the expenses begin to outweigh the benefits.
At that point, save the gold and start using it to buy new equipment. Once you get into the spending of thousands of gold, the strength of the equipment becomes worth the price, and then you can power it up on top of that to become extra powerful.
Each character has a certain amount of energy per fight. Once they run out of energy, they can no longer be used in a fight until that energy is recovered. If your characters run out of energy in the mission or dungeon battles, they can still fight in PvP mode (the energy bar for PvP is in the upper right corner of the screen). Try to pick a battle where the rival’s characters are at least one level below yours for an easy win.
To speed up each battle, hit the “skip” button in the bottom left corner of the screen (it’s the one that looks like >|) or hit the fast forward (the one that looks like >>). These are available on every battle except new mission battles which you haven’t played before. This makes it much easier to complete dungeons faster, especially.
On tough battles, though, don’t use the skip button. Fight manually, target one enemy at a time, and use your special attacks (the one that cost MP) as much as possible, especially on the tougher enemies.
Use the skip trick, as well, for quick leveling up by going back to old quest battles or to dungeons that you know you can beat, and knocking out some quick battles, and then going to PvP mode and knocking off quick battles there as well, draining your energy bar in the process. This is an extremely easy way to level up and to gain gold and equipment.
