Smash Bandits is the counterpoint to the Smash Cops duo of games. Here, you play as the bandits who are smashing, and getting smashed by, the cops, along with smashing nearly everything that pops up on the side of the road. The two types of currency in the game are Smash Bucks and Bandit Chips. Smash Bucks are the main currency, while Poker Chips are the premium currency of the game. Read on to find out how to get more of both currencies in Smash Bandits!
Smash Bucks are earned mostly when you play each stage. You’ll earn them every time you hit something that you can smash, and you’ll earn more of them depending on how many meters you rack up and how high you can get the ratings. The ratings, of course, are based on how far you go and how many objects you can smash.
You can smash objects that don’t appear to be smashable at first, as well. For example, cars can be smashed, whether they are driving or not driving. Cops, obviously, can be smashed, but it’s very difficult to smash them if you aren’t using an upgrade such as the ram, the tank or the stunner.
An easy way to earn a ton of Smash Bucks is to go to the off-highway areas, because there tends to be a higher concentration of smashable items there. The higher that you upgrade your smash power, the more things you can smash, therefore the more bucks that you can get. Cross the checkpoints, though, and you can get a 1.5x multiplier for Smash Bucks.
Play without using any of the upgrades at all, because they drain your Smash Bucks just to use them for the round. Use no upgrades, just smash everything you can and you’ll load up on Smash Bucks.
You can get free Smash Bucks and free Bandit Chips in the store. Hit the shopping cart icon and the first two buttons will be to watch videos for 250 free Smash Bucks, or for 5 free Smash Bucks. In addition, whenever you gain a level by completing quests, you will earn Bandit Chips as a reward.
