Farm Story 2 is one of TeamLava’s first direct sequels, after City Story Metro. This one takes the Farm Story franchise (and TeamLava in general) into the realm of 3D for the first time, and they pull it off admirably with a game that combines the play of the original Farm Story with a little bit of Hay Day here and there. This is a long game with many hours of gameplay, and it will take even a seasoned player weeks to find everything in the game. Without further ado, here are 10 of the top tips and tricks for Farm Story 2!
10) Need more supplies? Complete as many deliveries as possible.
You can send deliveries using your plane in order to earn coins and experience points, but you’ll also earn different supplies every time that you complete a deliveries. These include things such as nails, screws, bricks, hammers and paint for upgrading your barn and silo, or land deeds and expansion permits for expanding your farm. Always try to have deliveries lined up one after the other.
9) Speed up your wait by spending Gems or by setting the time on your device ahead.
Setting the time ahead on your device will work admirably, though sometimes the game will undergo a server reset, leaving you without the bonuses you gained since you started messing with the time. Shut off the app and set the time back to normal, then turn the app back on, to mitigate this. Or, just spend gems if you don’t want to mess with the time.
8) Expand to the train station for a chance at free gems.
Want some free gems? Expand, expand, expand, and work your way up to the train station, which is in the upper right corner of the map. It takes a long time to get there, but for free gems, isn’t it worth it?
7) Fix the side store as soon as you can.
Eventually, items in the store become so expensive that they take forever to earn just by doing deliveries. Unlocking the side store will allow you to earn coins FAR more quickly than you can in the delivery area.
6) Maximize the number of farm plots that you have.
Buy new farm plots literally as soon as you unlock them. Once you buy new farm plots, you will be able to plant more crops at a time, which of course allows you to produce more animal feed, feed more animals to make products, cook animals, cook their products, etc etc, which allows you to do more and bigger deliveries, and to stack deliveries up on top of each other.
