Welcome to part three of the beginner’s guide to CastleVille Legends! Click here to go back to part two of the guide.
As you progress through the game, you will be able to rescue more heroes who have been trapped. Your first two heroes, of course, are Magnus the Wizard and Raphael the Swordsman. You will be able to rescue Yvette, your first new hero, once you hit level 9, although you will be able to unlock Ember the Fire Dragon from the store at level 7. Once you hit level 20, you can unlock Greenleaf the Earth Dragon from the store, and once you hit level 21, you will be able to unlock Bluebelle by rescuing her.
Once you hit level 25, you can unlock Rill the Water Dragon from the store, and once you hit level 27, you can unlock Bayoo by rescuing him. Once you hit level 31, you can unlock Tanya, and then once you hit level 37, you can unlock Leif. There are more that are not even listed in the Royal Castle whom you can unlock by expanding to and rescuing them, including Giovanni, as well as Hazel the Witch.
Once you hit the appropriate level, the way to rescue those who need rescuing is to expand to where they are. Once you rescue them, you can then expand to a whole new area, explore it, and then expand further to rescue even more heroes. You have enough heroes to rescue all the way up until you hit the maximum level, essentially, and then once you get there, no doubt Zynga will start putting new quests in the game for you to complete, just like they do with the other “Ville” games.
If you don’t want to do this on your own, then don’t worry, as Zynga has made sure to include the all-important social element in the game. Tap on the red icon in the upper right corner of the screen and you will be able to link the game up with Facebook. If you have friends that play, you can then send goodies to each other, as well as visit each other’s kingdoms and help each other out. If not, then you can invite your friends to play, or add people who already do play.
That’s all for CastleVille Legends! Enjoy the game!
