Jungle Heat – FAQ, Walkthrough, Wiki and Beginner’s Guide, Part 2

You’ll notice different types of enemy buildings once you begin attacking other bases. The gun turrets and watchtowers will fire on your troops, and the walls have to be destroyed before your troops can get past them. Enemy command centers, oil and gold storage, markets, and oil rigs will provide you oil. Once you attack a computer controlled base and steal their resources, those resources can’t be stolen again from that same base even if you lose the battle.

While still in beginner protection, go back to your base and start building defensive units of your own. Your cannon towers and watchtower, which are your first units, will fire on any unit that is in range of them. Walls will block enemy troops, although they can obviously be destroyed. Upgrading the command center increases the maximum amount of each building that you can buy, and unlocks new units for you to buy, such as the mortar. Tap the ‘I’ next to any building to see what it does and how it works. Upgrade any of your defensive units in order to increase their power, range and hit points.

Your “mine” units are dynamite, traps, and big bada boom units. These will be hidden from view until the enemy steps on them, at which point they will explode. The Defdrone functions like both a mine and a gun tower, in that it stays hidden from view until it’s stepped on, but then it rises into the air and fires on enemy troops.

You can move any item that you want around after you build it; however, you can’t move trees, rocks, and debris, you can only pay gold to clear them. Try to avoid wasting gold on them if at all possible, though, since they don’t take up much space. If you need the extra space that badly, then start clearing them out, and if you have built any decorations (which are useless), then sell them or store them.

At first, you can only send 20 troops into battle, because your rally point has 20 housing spaces. Upgrade your rally point, and build more rally points, in order to not only increase the amount of troops that you can have at one time, but to increase the amount of troops that you can send into battle by an equal amount. Even later on, when you start unlocking the advanced troops, many of them will take up more than one housing space at the same time.
