Gunner Z – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Gunner Z is a new zombie shooting game for the iOS platform. You play as a soldier who is mounted in the turret of a Humvee (and later on, other vehicles), and your goal is to kill all of the zombies, as well as all of the rogue soldiers who are sympathetic to the zombies. Read on for some tips and tricks for Gunner Z!

As you progress through the game, you can get all kinds of upgrades which will improve your chances of staying alive and knocking off zombies, from vehicle armor to gun upgrades, and even sight/scope upgrades. Unfortunately, for every upgrade that you buy, you have to wait for it to show up unless you want to spend BX to speed it up. If you want to make it show up instantly for free, just set the time forward on your phone by the amount of time that it takes for the upgrade to finish, then go back to the game and it will be finished.

Upgrade the zoom and the stability first and foremost, even before upgrading the armor, the firing rate, or anything else. Upgrading the zoom makes it far easier to kill zombies that are far away, while the stability upgrades help to stop the gun from drifting upwards if you hold the fire button, which especially makes it easier to destroy vehicles.

Rocket launchers make a great “desperation” attack against a large number of zombies, especially if you are about to get overrun. In general, though, save them and shoot them at vehicles as they do a lot of damage in only a little amount of time. If you don’t want to use your rockets on vehicles, then upgrade your gun’s strength to make it easier to destroy vehicles.

Where you shoot a zombie determines how many hits it will take to kill them. A headshot or a chest shot is a sure way to kill them instantly. If you shoot them in the legs or somewhere in their lower body in general, they will often come back and crawl around with their hands, which can allow them to sneak under your sight and do damage to you and your vehicle from below.

Try to avoid holding the fire button – tap it quickly instead in order to keep the sight stable while you fire. When firing at a vehicle, since it takes a lot of damage, keep slowly swiping down as you’re firing in order to offset the upward motion of the weapon as you fire.
