There is a scenario in which having duplicate covers can be a good strategy. If your heroes get injured or killed in battle and you run out of free heals, you can use the backup heroes to continue fighting in battle. They won’t quite be as strong as previous heroes, due to the differences in training (unless you train all of your heroes equally), but they can still be of use against weaker opponents.

Want an easy way to get stronger in battle? Get stronger heroes. Save up your Hero Points until you have 175 of them, and then spend the 175 hero points in the “Recruit New Heroes” section in order to get rare two- and three-star cards. Then add them to your team. After you have three of them filling out an entire team, you’ll have a very strong chance in almost any battle.

Rack up the Iso-8 and spend lots of it training the powers of your active team. Any time that you apply training to one of your team’s powers, they’ll have more of an effect (do more damage, stronger defense, or heal more hit points) in battle. Training these powers opens up your heroes to being further leveled up (which also costs Iso-8) and brings a huge advantage in battle.

When you’re fighting against a team of enemies, and one proves to be more difficult than others (because of a healing ability or a particularly devastating power), target the extra difficult enemy first to mitigate the advantage that the opposing team has due to that enemy. Tap and swipe the enemy team to scroll through which one you want to target.

If the particular healing enemy has such powerful healing skills that you can’t keep their hit points down long enough to kill them, save up AP until you can use multiple instances of your powers to kill them in one turn, or level up your powers (especially Iron Man’s initial power), or both, in order to ensure victory.
