Samurai Siege: Part 3 of the Walkthrough, Wiki, FAQ and Beginner’s Guide

Welcome to part three of the Samurai Siege beginner’s guide! Click here to go back to part two of the guide.

Right from the outset, you can get attacked by other players; however, if you do get attacked and your castle gets destroyed, not only will your base be immediately recovered, but you will be under protection for awhile to allow you to rebuild your city. You can even leave your castle outside of your walls, but leave your resources inside the walls, if you want to use this as a strategy in order to stay under a shield semi-permanently while losing as few resources as possible.

Play the multiplayer mode, and you will be automatically matched up against another player, using honor as the match up metric. You’ll get 25 honor every time you win a battle, but if you lose, you get 12 honor taken away, so the more honor you have, the tougher the battles get, but if you lose a few times you will end up getting matched against easier players afterward.

Additionally, you’ll get collection items when you destroy another player’s castle sometimes. If you want to fight other players for loot every time, go to the Menu mode and hit the Loot button. Defensive loot will earn you a Cannon of Doom which is like far more powerful version of a cannon, while Attack loot will earn you a Mercenary Camp, which will give you bonus mercenaries when you fight. Each bonus is only valid for two days.

Look for various side quests in the single player mode. They are going to be unusually tough battles that you don’t have to beat to get ahead, but that will give you extra bonuses for beating. An example is the “eye of a needle” battle. It’s not a requirement, but you can get some resources from beating this one.

Finally, you can connect the game to Facebook as well. Not only will you be able to compare honor rankings with your friends, you can do battle against each other’s bases to establish who’s the dominant one in your friendship circle!
