Thor: The Dark World – Top 10 tips, tricks, and cheats, Part 2

Welcome to part two of the Thor: TDR top 10 tips and tricks! Click here to go back to part one of the guide.

5) Keep checking back at your achievements tab to earn free Uru.
Uru is the premium currency of the game. Mostly, you can only get it via an in app purchase, but if you complete an achievement, go to the achievement tab at the level select screen. You will be able to collect your reward there, and you will be able to see what requirements you need to meet in order to earn any other future achievements.

4) Use the circle technique to maximize Thor’s effectiveness in battle.
Do this by placing your finger on the screen and swiping in circles, hitting each enemy every time that you go by. When your finger swipes over an enemy, Thor will dash over and hit them, so this technique will keep Thor dashing rapidly from enemy to enemy so fast that he will be almost impossible to hit, and will do huge amounts of damage to multiple enemies at once. This is especially useful on defense stages.

3) Spend ISO-8 on statistical boosts.
Buying statistical boosts with your ISO – 8 is one of the best uses of the game’s secondary currency. Boosting your attack, health, Defense, special attack, and special defense is possible with ISO – 8. These upgrades will carryover to any and all armor or hammers that you buy throughout the game, as well as any upgrades to your current armor or hammers.

2) Check the in app purchase store to see if there is an offer wall available.
Sometimes there is, but the offer wall will sometimes disappear and reappear. Whenever the offer wall becomes available, turn off the automatic upgrades on your device, because successive upgrades tend to either cause the offer wall to disappear, or if it is not already there, the offer wall will appear again.

1) Ignore the time-based stars on various stages until you are powerful enough to go back and complete them successfully.
You have three missions per stage, and each one is worth a star if you complete it. Most of these will be absolutely impossible to complete on the first try. Upgrade yourself and your Einherjar enough and then go back to the stage later on and you should be able to earn the star far more easily. If you still can’t beat the stage quickly enough to earn the star, simply continue upgrading and waiting until you are stronger.
