Two times a day, for an hour at a time, you will get to do the crown battle. When you go to the game, a crown will be on the floor. Tap it and it will go onto the boss’s head. Then, attack the boss with whatever weapon you want to. The boss will take about twice the usual amount of damage to kill, but when you do kill him, you will earn free gems. Do the crown battle as often as possible to maximize your free gems earnings.

Plus, every so often when you kill the boss, you’ll see a “free coins” popup, usually offering a total of 200 free coins. Tap it and an advertisement video will pop up (usually an ad for another iOS game). Watch it all the way through to get the free coins. Plus, if you like the game on Facebook, you will get another 500 free coins.

Another way to get massive amounts of coins is to sell any ingredient that you earn that you don’t want. To do this, go to the weapons menu, pick any craftable weapon that you haven’t unlocked yet, and tap it. Then tap one of the ingredients, and you will be taken to the inventory. You can pick any ingredient to sell for coins, and if you don’t have the ingredient, you can buy it for gems. You can use this method to trade your gems for coins as well, although the exchange rate is fairly bad.

You can get scratchers for free once per day as well. Otherwise, you have to pay gems. After you buy a scratcher, if you want to keep going, instead of buying a new scratch on the same card, buy a whole new scratcher card. A new scratcher will give you three scratches for 29 gems, while a new scratch on the same scratcher costs 39 gems for just one scratch.

Having trouble aiming one of your weapons? Pick up the boss with one finger first, and then use the other finger to aim the weapon. This is especially helpful when the boss won’t stop jumping around. Or, press two fingers on the screen at the same time and the weapon will appear in between your two fingers.
