Hello Hero is a new RPG with card battling elements, and like many games of this type, you can get heroes in multiple tiers of rarity. Common heroes are the weakest but the most numerous, while rare (two star) heroes are slightly more rare and slightly more powerful. From there you can get master, epic, unique or legend heroes (in order of rarity), which can allow you to make your team nearly unbeatable. Read on for tips on how to get the rare, master, epic, unique and legend heroes in Hello Hero!
Rare heroes are, contrary to their name, not that uncommon of a find. You’ll find quite a few heroes as you traverse through the quests. Typically, on the last level of a particular group of levels, you will have a slightly better chance of finding a two star hero. Sometimes, especially as you get further on into the game, you can even find a three star hero this way.
Using fusion to upgrade a hero can add a star to their ranking. Fusion is a pain to pull off, though, as you need to upgrade two heroes of the same class to level 30, and then add +5 to their upgrade level, meaning that you’ll waste LOADS of common heroes just trying to upgrade them. Typically, though, it can be worth it for how much their base stats improve.
There are two main types of purchases for new heroes. One type of purchase costs honor points, while the other costs carats. The carats purchase guarantees a 2 to 6-star hero. The honor point purchases will usually earn you a one star hero, or a two-star, but they have the chance at earning you up to a 4-star hero if you are lucky enough.
Dungeons in particular are some of the best places to recruit the rarest heroes. Read the global chat at the top right of the screen, because every time someone recruits a legendary, unique or epic hero, you will see where they did it – usually, it’s in the dungeon or in the store. The further you get in the dungeon, the more powerful your recruited heroes can be.
Of course, even with a super rare hero you will still have to level them up in order to make them competitive enough to help you in battle. Put them in the back row to minimize the damage that they take, and give them a rare piece of armor ASAP. Go back and play older quest stages and with each battle that they win, they will gain loads of experience. It will be a very short time before they are ready to help your current crew.
