There is a LOT that goes into getting a record high score in LINE Cookie Run – more than you would think, in fact. If you are on the LINE social network, and have connected the game up to LINE, and have plenty of friends who play the game, you might see one or two people get insanely high, seemingly-impossible scores. Rest assured that it’s very possible to be one of those people. Read on for some tips on how to get an extremely high score in LINE Cookie Run!
First of all, practice practice practice. The game gets fast and faster as you get farther and farther into the run, which means that you have to be on point because one little mistake can drain your energy beyond the point of being able to reach the next checkpoint, or send you falling into a ditch. Practice running as far as you can without making any mistakes. This is the first piece to the puzzle.
Without purchasing some upgrades, though, you’re not going to be setting any records. Spend your coins generously on the three upgrades – the jelly upgrade, bonus time upgrade, and the energy potion upgrade. You will be able to run farther due to the increased amount of energy that the potions recover, and the upgraded jellies are worth more points per jelly. Of course, a longer bonus time means more jellies collected!
Gaining experience levels will add to your points because for each level you gain, a 1% bonus is added to every one of your final point totals. In addition, you’ll gain crystals, which can then be spent on purchasing new pets. The Cozy Yarn pet in particular helps you load up on the points, since it gives you a free bonus time every 60 seconds (even shorter intervals if you upgrade it).
On top of all of these, spend money on boosts, such as the energy boosts and the cookie relay bonus, which allows you to pick two different cookies and have one pass off to the other. Purchase new and more advanced cookies, too, which have more energy, and especially cookies such as the Zombie Cookie and Pirate Cookie which revive after they die. Again, the longer that you run for, the more points that you’ll end up with.
