Flappy Rainbow, also known as Flappy Nyan, is a Flappy Bird-alike staring the infamous Nyan Cat. The goal is the same as it is in the other Flappy games, and that is to get through as many pipes as you can before dying – although there are some extras in this one that are not present in the others. Read on for some tips and tricks for Flappy Rainbow!
This game, just like the others, requires that you have a rhythm in order to do best. Figure out the best rhythm with which to bounce your cat. Bouncing to the beat of a song can help – for this one, the song “In Da Club” by 50 Cent or something with a similar beat will work.
Once you have that rhythm down, aim to bounce towards the bottom half of the pipe opening. You don’t have to be too close to the bottom pipe when you jump, because the jump isn’t too high; aim right and you’ll very easily jump through to the next pipe.
After your cat dies, you will have the choice between easy, medium, and hard modes. Hard has you playing as a ridiculous frog. Oddly enough, this mode may actually be easier once you get the hang of the rhythm. In this, the frog doesn’t bounce, the pipes themselves bounce.
Easy mode is unlocked by installing whatever other app is being advertised by the maker of the game. Oddly enough, this is actually the hardest mode, despite having the smallest target, because your little square will bounce upside down. Turn your phone or tablet upside down, though, and it will look far more normal, and it will be BY FAR the easiest mode in the game.
Look for fun Easter eggs that pop up in the game. For example, around the 33 point mark or so, you will see a grave stone with a picture of the bird from Flappy Bird on it, with R.I.P. above it.
