In Chaos Fighters, there’s a nearly limitless amount of ways to upgrade everything from your fighters to your items, weapons, pets, and even your gems. Just in the forge alone you can enhance, reforce, engrave, use gems, and fuse your way to the top. With as many as there are, though, it can get extremely confusing. Read on for the full guide on how to use your Forge!
Enhancing is something that is done to either armor or weapons. This is the simplest and arguably the most effective. Pick a weapon or armor item and then you can upgrade it by spending either gold or enhancing amulets. The upgrade improves its main statistic (attack power for weapons, HP for boots, defense for shirts etc). The higher the upgrade level, the more likely the upgrade is to fail, so choose wisely how far you want to take the upgrading.
Reforging can be done to armor or weapons. Every weapon or armor has between 2 and 4 secondary characteristics, which are listed below the “base attribute”. All that reforging does is change the secondary attributes. It doesn’t actually upgrade unless you’re that set on changing something’s secondary attributes.
Engraving is extremely expensive and, honestly, is not very useful. You can spend engraving amulets (which cost a ton of diamonds) or just spend a ton of diamonds in order to lock a secondary attribute in place so that when you reforge or purify an item, the attribute won’t change. That’s all that it does.
Adding gems to an item will greatly increase certain stats. First, you need to have sockets available; if you don’t, then you’ll need to get the corresponding drill in order to make available slots (basic drill for <31, junior for 31-60 and senior for >60). Then you can start sticking gems on stuff. Topax will increase your stamina, sapphire will increase your dexterity and rubies will increase your strength.
Fusion can be done to either pets, gems, or fighters. This requires you to have three of the same gem, pet, or fighter. Pick it out of the backpack or out of the fighter’s equipment screen, then if you have two identicals, you can fuse for a small amount of gold. This will increase your hero’s base statistics greatly, give pets new skill slots and more power, or greatly increase the effectiveness of a specific gem’s stat boost.
