Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff – Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide, Page 3

-You have six different districts that you can unlock. Once you clear out all of the land in one district and complete the right quests, you’ll be able to unlock the next district. Until then they will remain locked, so focus only on one thing at a time.
-Whenever you visit one of your friends, you have 8 hours to go until you can complete actions in their Quahogs again. Look at the friend’s icon to see how much time you have left until you can go and visit again.

-If you want to invite friends to play the game (which, by the way, will earn you free clams for doing so), invite the ones who you know to be more into iPhone and Android games, since they will be more likely to accept the invite.
-Go to the settings menu if the push notifications are bugging you, and you want to turn them off (or you want to turn them back on so you can get things done as quickly as possible).

-Once you get to the shopping district and unlock Al Harrington’s shop, you can put your characters in different outfits. Tap on the “info” button for the shop to pick your character and start dressing them up in new stuff.
-New stuff will pop up on Facespace fairly frequently. It’s not random, but it’s usually quests and outfits that do it. Sometimes, new hints will pop up on how to unlock new characters.

-The fastest way to level up characters is to have them complete joint tasks with other characters, such as Peter and Quagmire taking a nap together. They will both get all of the experience points that are allocated to that task, speeding up the leveling process.
-Do you use Game Center in order to challenge friends? If so, go to the Achievements tab and you will be able not only to compare your progress to theirs, but to challenge them in completing in game achievements.

-If you are the type to make in app purchases, wait until bundle deals pop up. For example, if you buy a box of coins right now, you get 130 clams for free. A box of coins is worth 1,300 coins, and a box of clams is worth 130 clams (each of those being worth 5 dollars apiece).
-If you played in the beta and you haven’t gotten back into your account, try going to the account info menu, signing out, and then signing back in again, and you should get your account right back.
