Pixel Gun 3D is a new survival shooter for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. It’s your Minecraft-esque, custom character vs horde after horde of zombies and monsters in this game as you go from level to level, blasting enemies and earning coins. Read on for some tips and tricks for Pixel Gun 3D!
Right from the beginning, survival mode is not only one of the best ways to practice, it’s also one of the best ways to earn more coins. Your goal here is to survive wave after wave of attacks, killing the enemies in the process. Strafing is the only way to make that happen. Move in circles, hold down on the fire button, and move your firing finger to change your aim and keep the gun aimed at zombies.
Aim lower, too, so that you can easily transition from killing walking zombies to killing crawlers and slugs. Your shots will do the same amount of damage no matter where you hit the zombies, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on headshots. Just make sure to keep on moving so that you don’t get trapped by zombies.
You have three goals to complete on each stage in order to earn stars. Killing all of the monsters will earn you one star, and killing them quickly earns you the second star, while killing them without taking any damage will earn you the third star. The difficulty level does not affect the earned stars, so pick easy to earn the stars more quickly. Buying a shield before a round will make it easier to get a tough third star.
However, difficulty level DOES affect the amount of coins earned when you beat a level. Beat it on hard to earn 3 coins, which is the maximum amount. Normal earns you only two coins and easy earns you one coin.
In deathmatch mode, killing yourself will take away one of your kills. Try to find a good place to take cover before shooting up one of your enemies. In addition, not only is it important to keep moving here, but try to attack players who are distracted, perhaps by being in a gunfight with someone else. This is an easy kill because usually their health will be low anyways.
