Stay in the Line is a new game for the iPhone and iPad. The goal of the game is to, as the title says, stay in the line. Use your finger to drag a ball around the screen, and stay inside the lines so that you can rack up the highest point total as absolutely possible. Read on for some tips and tricks for Stay in the Line!
More than a lot of things, this game is all about finger/eye coordination, and screen protectors tend to impede both of them. Keep the screen protectors off of your phone while you’re playing. And make sure to clean the screen and to wash your hands while you’re at it, so that you don’t mess up your finger’s grip on the screen.
Instead of dragging your bare skin along the screen, drag your fingernail or your thumb skin and your fingernail at the same time along the screen. This makes it easier to just slide the cursor along as you play, rather than having to fight with your sweaty skin to make it drag across the screen. You’ll have to be slightly more precise when you do this, but it greatly speeds up the game.
The impossible parts of the path are the ones where the path goes straight to the left or to the right, rather than diagonally. Instead of trying to drag the ball at high speed all the way through this part of the path, lift your finger up and put it back down on the other side, skipping the horizontal part of the path altogether. Use of two fingers helps when you do this, as well.
If you have both an iPhone and an iPad, play this game on the iPad, as the bigger screen makes a MASSIVE difference at placing the ball more precisely and getting it through the paths. The iPhone does have an advantage of its own in that you have to drag your finger a shorter distance to get the ball to move, but you do have to be far more precise with it.
Wanna get rid of the ads? Shut the data and the wifi off on your phone and/or your tablet, or switch them to airplane mode and play them. It’s generally not recommended to do this though, as if you play the game for free, the ads are the developer’s way of making money, so it’s good for the developer to get paid for his or her work.
