Toy Rush – Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide

Toy Rush is a new real time strategy game for the iOS and Android platforms. It’s a novel new take on the Clash of Clans style of gameplay, in that in this game, the entire thing runs off of disposable cards. Hero cards, upgrade cards, bonus cards and buff cards are all part of the fun here, and your goal is to exploit the nearly endless combinations of cards that you can get in order to become the best of the toy battlers. Read on for some tips and tricks for Toy Rush!

The primary ingredient to winning any battle is quantity. Never go into a battle without having enough cards to know that you can finish the battle off. However, if you’re absolutely loaded with cards, don’t use too many of them at once, because if you finish the battle with an unused stack still left over, then you’re going to lose those cards.

Don’t just purchase card packs for battle though. Use them to power up your hero card. Your hero card is the only card that comes back after you use it in battle. Upgrade it by sacrificing your disposable cards to power it up. The more powerful your hero is, the less of the other cards that you have to send into any one battle at one time.

Make the path to your base as long and twisty as possible. The longer it is, the more effective space your defensive towers will have to work with, because enemy troops will be in range for longer periods of time. To get more defense tower cards without having to spend your caps on premium packs, fight in as many battles as possible, because they often come as prizes that you win from battles.

Complete as many achievements as you can to earn as many free caps as you can. Don’t spend them all right away, but one of the most important purchases to make early on in the game is to upgrade your piggy bank early, because the piggy bank fills up with tickets extremely quickly due to not being able to hold many. The faster you upgrade it, the quicker you can get an advantage by being able to hold more tickets and thus purchase more card packs.

Medals are how you are ranked and matched up against other players in multiplayer battles. If you want to make battles easier, intentionally drop your medal count by sending in one card, then ending the battle so that you lose. Do this against other players over and over until your medal count is down enough to make battles easier.
