The strange thing is, the buildings that hold the most money before you collect from them are often the ones that have little to no threat level. Build these as a matter of first priority as soon as you unlock them. Don’t build other buildings of a similar price until you finish this one (if at all).
Instead of buying useless buildings to raise your threat level over and over again, spend your cash on upgrading your best buildings instead. This raises their threat level as well as how much money they make per minute and how much they hold total; however, upgrade a no threat building like the Baby Center as much as you want because they will never have a threat level no matter how high you upgrade them.
You’ll never actually need to spend crystals in order to get anywhere at this game. However, the only thing that there is to spend them on is speeding up the upgrade or construction of a building, so you might as well spend them if you have them.
Even better, upgrade the Community Center and other buildings that negate the threat level, so that you can have the lowest threat level possible. As was said before, the lower the threat level, the lower the chances of you getting arrested, and if your threat level is zero, you will literally never get thrown into jail.
Check the leaderboard to see what your net worth is compared to a number of celebrities and fictional characters. Some of the net worths might be fictional, such as Pew Die Pie and other folks who aren’t billionaires or eight-figure millionaires (or nine figure millionaires). The billionaire ones (the real people at least) are pretty accurate.
If you get sick of getting arrested and you don’t want to drop your threat level, then you can spend gems to purchase sorcery power ups. These will ensure that you don’t get convicted for a certain amount of time, but they cost a lot of crystals, so they are only really useful if you are actually rich in real life and can afford plenty of crystals.
