Drone: Shadow Strike – Tips, Tricks, Cheats and Strategy Guide

Drone: Shadow Strike is a new death-from-above drone strike simulator for the iPhone and iPad. You play as a drone (or a drone operator, rather) and your goal is to use your various weapons to pick off enemies and avoid getting hit yourself while completing a series of missions in a simulated version of a terrorist camp. Read on for some tips and tricks for Drone: Shadow Strike!

Pick the right weapons for the right situations. The missiles and bombs are best when you have a crowd of small enemies or a large enemy, such as a vehicle, that requires more hits to take out. The cannons are best when you need to make a close shot and pick off someone who is close to your allies, and you need to do so without hitting your allies as well.

For especially heavily armored vehicles, such as boss vehicles, make use of both. Tap missiles and then after you fire, quickly switch back to cannons and pepper the vehicle while the missile is still flying towards it. Then repeat as needed. Always be sure to look out for enemy rockets so that you can deploy countermeasures in order to throw the missiles off of your trail.

Cash and gold are the two types of currency in this game. If you go to the in-app purchase store, you can earn both for free. All that you have to do is watch advertisement videos. Pick whether you want gold or cash as a reward for watching them, and the game will give you what you pick. You can watch until you run out of videos, and then it won’t take long for videos to regenerate.

Go back and play old stages to earn fast cash and experience points, but only those which you have yet to complete every mission on. If you have already completed every mission or you fail to complete a single mission but still beat the stage, your rewards will be very small.

Always pay attention to your radar as well as to other enemies in various locations on and off your screen. A red dot surrounded by yellow will be the specific type of enemy that you need to kill in order to finish a stage or a mission. Regular red ones will be standard enemies.
