Jelly Wars is a new online massively multiplayer battle game for the iOS and Android platforms. This game plays much like Worms or Angry Birds, except with a live real-time multiplayer battle mechanism. You and up to seven other players battle it out for dominance, and during the ofttimes you can manage an island full of resources, pearls, and new bombs for you to unlock. Read on for some tips and tricks for Jelly Wars!
You don’t earn any of your resources from battle itself; instead, you earned them up from your island. To get more jellyfish, upgrade your harbor. To get more wood, upgrade your forest. To get more iron, upgrade your mine. Use all three of these resources in the refinery in order to make new resources, with which you can acquire more bombs and other goodies.
In addition to all of the new bombs that you can unlock in the science lab, be sure to upgrade your current bombs as well. Each upgrade to the bombs makes them more powerful and causes them to do more damage to enemy players. Plus, the more advanced a bomb is, the more expensive it becomes, so it can be the most cost-effective thing to upgrade your base level bomb rather than unlock a whole bunch of new ones.
In battle, always try to take the highest ground that you possibly can. This is important so that you can stop yourself from getting knocked off of a stage. Use one of the two movement options to launch yourself to a different area. Use the sticky one if you want to stick yourself to the side of a wall or to the underside of the platform.
By the same token, you should always try to knock your enemy off the platform and into the water. If you score a direct hit with a bomb, you will do damage, but it takes quite a few bombs in order to finish them off. If you manage to blow up the platform under them or knock them clear off the platform, they will die instantly.
Always look for special events that are going on within the game, because they will earn you a massive bonuses when you participate. For example, right now I’m special is going on where a random player who tweets about the game can earn 100 real-life dollars worth of pearls. In addition, complete the food quests in order to keep your workers happy.
