Ironkill is a new robot fighting game for the iOS and Android platforms. Much like a number of others before it, Ironkill lets you start off with one robot and then eventually earn more, upgrade your robot or robots, fight against both other players and computer-controlled robots, and compete for supremacy in the robot battles. Read on for some tips and tricks for Ironkill!
You have a limited amount of energy that you can use in order to fight, and once it’s gone, you have to wait for it to come back on its own – or you can use the time lapse trick to make it come back right away. All that you have to do is set the time ahead by however many minutes that you need to recover all of your energy (or more). Then go back to the game and see all of your restored energy. Then go and set the time back to normal whenever you want to.
You can use the same trick to speed up any of the upgrades that you put upon your robot, as well. Most of the time the upgrades take a short time to complete, but for something that takes a bit longer to complete, such as building a brand new robot, you can do the exact same trick and build the robot right away.
Even with the base level robot that you start off with, you aren’t merely stuck with the lousy stats that they begin with. As you earn coins in battle, use them to improve the stats of the robot. Only do this once you start to hit a wall, though; if you are still winning battles easily, save up your coins so that you can use them for building new robots or on research, instead.
Make smart use of your attacks and your defensive moves. To block a light attack, hit the green button and hold it until the barrage of attacks ends. To block heavy attacks, cut them off by using light attacks. You’re not going to be blocking the revenge or special attacks any time soon, though.
If you don’t want to mess with your phone’s time in order to restore your energy, then your best bet is to save up your robots, and then use them all in battle, for a total of five energy points apiece. Once one robot runs out of energy, switch to the other and it will have full energy unless you have used it already. Put all of your robots to good use for top farming.
