Captain Rocket is a new game for the iOS and Android platforms by Ketchapp and No Power-up. The story is that your character stole confidential documents and now has to get away by any means possible, meaning that he or she has to jump across a literally unlimited number of rockets in order to get back to the mothership. In reality, this is an endless/Flappyalike game, something that Ketchapp specializes in and does quite well. Read on for some tips and tricks for Captain Rocket!
If you just jump from one rocket to the next, all that you are going to do is go backwards. A good rule of thumb is to try to rocket-hop, and skip one rocket per jump that you take. Jump from one rocket to the second next rocket – not the next rocket. Jump over one and land on the next one and you should be good to go.
Of course, there are some exceptions to this rule. Always try to stay on the high ground as when you are on the low ground, it becomes quite easy to slam your head on a passing rocket and lose the stage. Stay as high as possible in order to maximize your chances of breaking your old high score and setting a new high score.
If you want to get rid of the ads, then the best way to do so is to set the phone into airplane mode and then play the game. Once you do this, the ads will stop showing up, but the whole rest of the game will be playable. It’s generally not recommended to do this, though, since indie developers are the ones that lose the most, since ads are their bread and butter. Leave the ads on and support the developers.
If you get too frustrated and you find that your scores are going backwards, then take a break from the game for awhile and then come back to it an hour or two later. You will find that once your adrenaline has cooled off a bit, the game will be a whole lot easier to play and beat due to the ease of playing without worrying about anything beforehand.
Check the Game Center or Google Play pages to see what the high scores are on this game. If you find that the scores are unrealistic looking then scroll down and you will eventually find the ones that are realistic, yet still tough to beat. Use these as your barometer for what the best scores are, and what to try to beat in this game.
