Cops & Donuts is a new endless puzzle game for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as one solo anime style cop in the center of a large game board, with donuts coming at you from for directions. Your goal is to go as long as possible without letting one of the four donut lines back up. Read on for some tips and tricks for Cops & Donuts!
One of the first things to look for is what direction the donuts are going to be coming from next. Each of the four sides has a box, and if that box has a donut inside of it, one more down it is going to appear. If that box is empty, then no more donuts are going to appear for now.
If two of the same color donut collide with each other, then they will turn into a special donut, which will earn you two points when you knock it out and will knock out the donut behind you as well. If a third donut of the same color hits it, it will become a line donut which will knock out the entire line of donuts behind me. If a fourth donut of the same color it’s the wind on it, it will become a sprinkled donut, which will knock out all donuts of the same color when you hit it.
Before you knock out one of the line donuts, you should make sure that the line of donuts behind it is as long as possible so that you can get your money’s worth. Before you knock out one of the sprinkle donuts, be sure that there are plenty of the same color on the screen. Let the lines build up for as long as possible before you knock them out.
You can collect donuts and then spend them on a new type of cop. The new type of cop will not change the gameplay; all that it will do is change the appearance of the cop in the middle. Nevertheless, it is fun to collect all of them if you can.
Calling for back up actually is helpful in the game because it will stop you from losing a stage, but if you call for back up you will use one of your calls. Once you run out of calls, the only way to get them back is to purchase more of them with real life money. Try to go as far as you can without calling for back up.
