.PXL – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

.PXL is a new endless flyer game for the iOS and Android. This game is one that proves that the Flappyesque is not dead – no, it’s very much alive. Your goal here is to guide your pixel through an ever-changing course loaded with obstacles, and try to rack up the highest score possible. Once done, then try to do it all over again. Read on for some tips and tricks for .PXL!

You can either ride on the ground or you can bounce like Flappy Bird. Try to ride on the ground whenever you see an opening that allows you to do so. Sometimes it’s easy to miss when you can and cannot do this, but when you ride along the ground, you don’t have to worry about bouncing the wrong way by accident.

Sometimes getting your top score is a matter of luck as much as it is skill. You might get the hardest stage segments right away, or you might get the easiest ones right away. Play over and over again and eventually the easy ones will all come up at once. Or practice the hard ones and you will become so good at it that it won’t even matter.

You can choose one of three different prices to get rid of the ads in the game. You can either pay $.99, $1.99 or $2.99 for the same effect. Paying more simply shows more appreciation toward the developer. If you want to, you can set the phone into airplane mode and the ads will go away, but it’s inconvenient and it will take away ad revenue from an indie developer, so my recommendation is to leave the ads on or buy the ad free mode.

Time your bounces so that you can rise rapidly when you need to, and so that you can fall rapidly when you need to. Get past obstacles with the closest calls that you can. Sometimes, you will almost be required to make close calls because if you don’t you’ll end up running into an obstacle simply from the fact that you didn’t bounce quickly enough.

If you start to lose your concentration you can always take a break for awhile and come back to the game, especially when you begin to get a little too frustrated and lose your cool. Once the adrenaline subsides, come back to the game and chances are you’ll set a high score.
