Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (iOS game) – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse is a new puzzle shooter for the iPhone and iPad. Think of it as a cross between Angry Birds and Stupid Zombies, as your goal is to shoot bullets across the house in such a way as to kill all of the zombies with as few bullets as possible, and earn three stars on the stage. Read on for some tips and tricks for Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, the game!

Most of the zombies will be killable by using regular shots. Others, though, avoid your shots, and can thus only be killed by knocking various obstacles and structures onto them with your shots. Know which zombies take what shots and you can easily take down three zombies with just one shot.

You need a specific number of stars to advance to the next area, so after you complete all levels in your current area, go back to the levels that you previously two-starred or one-starred and play them again. They will be easier the next time around, and as you play them, you’ll remember what shots, aimed in which directions, are the most effective ones for knocking off all of the zombies.

Each new world will have its own set of obstacles, such as the prison, where cop zombies with riot shields will walk back and forth. In that case, you have to wait until the zombie turns it back before shooting it. The farther that you get, the more difficult and inconvenient the zombies’ strategies will become.

Wait as long as you need to in order to make a good shot. There is no penalty for waiting a long time, but if you make a bad shot, you lose points at the end of the round, and thus lose a star or two. In many stages the zombies will walk around, so you will have to wait for them to get to the right spots before shooting.

You can use various power-ups, which become available by hitting the red button in the levels. Power-ups can be bought using boosters, which are the in game currency, and boosters can be earned through your performance in-game, as well as purchased using real-life money. Avoid using boosters if at all possible, and save them for the hardest levels in the game.
