In search of Rift bots? Rift bots are tools designed to play the game for you, earning exp and platinum. Rift bots have a multitude of uses, from leveling a class, to gathering herbs and ore. A rift bot might only grind mobs, or it could have more advanced functions, like PVP support.
Bots are exceedingly simple to operate nowadays. Game bots have simple GUIs for straightforward configuration of features and setup. Whereas a couple years ago, most bots were simple macros that required script editing, today you can now setup a bot in just a few minutes. There are so many people botting in Rift that you likely see one each time you play but do not recognize them. When setting up a Rift bot you will first need to load or generate a waypoint file, which tells your bot where to go to gather or fight monsters. To accomplish this you’ll have to start waypoint recording, and moving your character around where you want the bot to travel. After that you’re ready to setup combat. Each class in RIFT offers unique skills, which means you will have to tell your bot which to make use of and when. As you become more experienced with your bot you’ll get closer to perfecting your combat setup which will improve your experience earned per hour. There are more miscellaneous features you will need to configure, but these are pretty basic.
