The removal of sound in swtor brings much inconvenience in star wars

Now as Star War: the Old Republic's new expansion - Knights of the Fallen Empire is coming soon, Swtor has received many returning and new players. However, when spend swtor credits in the game, players show disappointment on the new launcher that removes the starting up sound, plus the subtle color difference, players just cannot tell when Play button is ready and they can start playing.

The removal of sound in swtor brings much inconvenience

If you are a veteran player of Swtor, the removal of starting up sound in new launcher must make you upset. Originally, after you log in the game, the old launcher provided a digital sound when the Play button was ready. That feature not only let you know it was time to click the "play" button and begin to enter the game, but also allowed you to watch a video or do other stuff while the game was updating in the background. Unfortunately, with the new launcher, people would just frequently have issues where the launcher hangs and when it becomes active, since there's no sound anymore.
Under this situation, many players have asked Bioware to think about re-implementing a sound on the new launcher. Considering it was useful, but sometimes annoying for some people, players suggested to make the sound optional, maybe include a little checkbox underneath the play button for Ready Sound, or allow those players who don't like the sound to just selectively mute the launcher in the windows volume mixer, etc.

The similar color of buttons makes them unreadable

Except for Ready Sound, the subtle color difference between unplayable and playable buttons also trouble players, especially color blinders much. In swtor new launcher, there is no visual indication other than the slightly brighter mustard-yellow color. It is a sad fact that someone told he literally cannot tell the difference to shades that or similar and sat there for so long the other day waiting when he could have been playing. And someone even said he had to ask his wife to look at it because he has colorblindness.
Sounds like a stretch, huh? But it's true that even the sharp-eyed people still need some time to tell the difference. Maybe Bioware can consider enlarging the color difference, or providing a better visual indicator on it. Or even revert the original color would be nicer than now.

Maybe Bioware is aiming at providing players with great innovation, but the small details are the same important for players to get good experience. Just hope that there will be some fixes on new launcher when KOTFE comes. Before it, welcome to join in Swtor2credits Fallen Empire promotion to get free bonus for cheap swtor credits !
