Jak And Daxter The Precusor Legacy Guideline Part 4

Jak and Daxter's journey so far has brought them adventures in various places, the boys have completed various quests and missions in the Sandover Village, the Rock Village and the Volcanic Crater. At the Volcanic Crater the boys had to complete mission in the Spider Cave as well as on the Snowy Mountain to get the 72 power-cells required, so that Kiera can re-enforce the Zoomer Vehicle's shields for the journey through the Lava Tube.

Lava Tube

The Lava Tube is another Zoomer challenge that Jak and Daxter need to drive the Zoomer through. In the Lava Tube the most important factor are the water-balloons, in the Lava Tube it is very crucial that the boys do not miss to many water-balloons because the Zoomer will heat up very quickly.

In the Lava Tube you can get a power-cell if you free the 7 scout flies located here, and once you have reached the end of the Tube, the boys will receive another power-cell. Once the boys complete the mission, they reach the Yellow Sage's Lab which is destroyed. They activate the transportation gate and Kiera comes through crying that her father is missing. As it turns out Gol and Maia have kidnapped the other Sages to prevent the Sages from interfering with their plan to break open the Dark Eco Silos.

Gol and Maia's Citadel

When Jak and Daxter enter the Citadel, they discover that all the Sages are imprisoned inside cages. It is up to the boys to save the Sages, so when the enter the Citadel they need to overcome various obstacles to free each Sage. Once the boys have freed the Sages, the Sages combine their different Eco powers and attempt to destroy the Precursor Robot that Gol and Maia want to use to execute their plan.

However their blast only lowers the barrier surrounding the robot and as a result the boys will have to defeat the robot driven by Gol.

The Precursor Robot Battle

To start the battle, Jak and Daxter need to take the elevator next to Samos to reach the arena. To beat the robot, the boys need to absorb the Yellow Eco to blast the robot's laser with. When the laser explodes, the boys need to power up with Blue Eco to avoid the blast range of a bomb that Gol will release. Gol will then release Lurkers which Jak can defeat using the Yellow Eco.

Once more the boys need to use the Blue Eco to avoid the second bomb that Gol releases. After that Jak and Daxter can charge up with Yellow Eco once more to completely destroy the laser. Another bomb gets released but once more with Blue Eco, Jak and Daxter can avoid any danger. Once the danger is gone the boys can use Yellow Eco to blast the canon that Gol is using. As soon as the canon gets destroyed, Samos and the other Sages will once more combine their Eco Powers to release White Eco that Jak can charge up with to completely destroy the Precursor Robot thus ending Gol and Maia's plan.

After defeating the robot, Samos tells the boys that he was too hard on the boys since the boys do have what it takes as heroes. After the victory celebrations, however the boys take the 100 power-cells they have collected and insert them into an ancient precursor door, the only thing we are left with is the group looking into the door with amazement.

Conclusion

This concludes our tip and guideline article series on Jak and Daxter: the Precursor Legacy. I'm really glad that the game is now on the PlayStation 3 game console as it was one of my favourite platform games, I would really suggest gamers out there get the trilogy because it's a really fun game.
