World Of Warcraft Trading Card Game

World of Warcraft is commonly know as an mmorpg (massive multiplayer online role playing game), however there is another side the the game, tcg (trading card game). The trading card game, World of Warcraft, has many of the same aspects of the online game; race, class, questing, dungeons, raiding, and pvp. The trading card game also uses a lot of the same lingo as the online version, if someone ever wants to dabble into either form of the game. The trading card game is a face to face game where players can get together at set tournaments held all over to compete with their individual decks to earn honor points and more cards. These won cards and honor can increase the players gear and get them new items for their deck.

Starter Decks

Those wanting to get started in the trading card game can start with a starter deck which will give the player 60 cards specific to the character they choose as the starter kit. These starter decks will give you everything you need to start playing the game; two booster pack, a how-to-play guide, three hero card, and 33 starter deck cards. A way to get your feet wet in the World of Warcraft trading card game for a very low price.

Booster Packs

Then in addition there are booster packs that can be sold individually to add to your starter deck and for the chance of items and loot cards. These packs contain a hero card, a rare or epic card, four uncommon cards, and 13 common cards, which all can add to your existing deck or in addition to your starter cards to make a unique deck. These decks also come fairly inexpensive, and easy way to add to your new start of the game.

Raid Decks

Just as the online version World of Warcraft, the trading card game also has raiding, where a group of people come together to defeat harder bosses as a team. The deck contains the boss' abilities and a treasure pack, which would hold more cards that could improve your deck. These decks are sold at a considerably higher price than the starter and booster packs, but can be fun to group together as a team and defeat a raid boss.

Treasure Packs

Then there are the treasure packs which come in the raid decks, but can also be bought individually as the booster packs at about the same price, with a higher chance at loot cards. These are the packs that the online gamers of World of Warcraft are looking at purchasing if they are searching for the rare loot cards that can be redeemed and used on their characters online.

As someone geared more towards the online play of World of Warcraft, the trading card version can be very exciting new way of playing the same great game with a different style. There are many vendors for the many packs and decks to buy, so looking into how much you want to play on the card game can be a deciding factor when deciding to start or continue playin the trading card version of World of Warcraft.
