Hunter Leveling Guide - Beast Mastery Hunter Leveling Build & Leveling Spec

Leveling a Hunter is a lot easier than most classes and some would argue that they are even the easiest class for leveling quickly in WoW. There's a key secret to leveling the Hunter class fast and easily.

Want to know what that secret is? Sure you do..

The secret is the Beast Mastery Tree. That's right it's all about strengthening your pet so that you have a strong advantage over the mobs with your pet keeping them at bay. Although this build and strategy is effective, I have to admit I find it a little boring as there's not much hands on work to be done in the battlefield. You can even just set to auto fire and obliterate the mobs that way whilst not even being at the computer!

This build is a great build for novice players and players who have little time to spare for the game but want to level through the game quickly with the Hunter class.

Firstly we'll cover the talents in the Beast Mastery tree that don't need to be acquired as they are not particularly useful for a leveling build. The talents you can skip are One With Nature and Improved Mend Pet.

You'll want to assign all available talent slots to the other talents except for Spirit Bond which only requires 1/2 talent points for this build. As you can see it's a nice straight forward build that can be applied easily.

For this build it's also wise to add some of the talents from the Marksmanship tree. This will improve the Hunters damage with efficiency as well as boost the Hunters pet further. Rather than pick lots of individual abilities and assign just 1-2 talent points to them, which is what many people do after their primary build is complete, it's advisable to assign all 2-3 available talent slots preferably completing the talent slot completely.

To start the Marksmanship build I'd take the Go For The Throat ability followed by the Efficiency ability where you'll assign all available talent slots to both abilities. Then I would opt for Sic' Em and the Careful Aim ability. That completes a nice Beast Mastery Hunter leveling build.

It's wise to go for a Protection build if you're planning on building a tanking Warrior. This is also a good option although not as good for participating in group quests and completing Dungeons. Dungeon leveling is the most effective leveling technique for WoW and the build above or hybrid build would best suit this type of gaming scenario.
