Flight simulator is considered a game because it needs electrical hardware and software (especially PCs and PC software, sometimes game consoles), it has rules and interfaces.
Flight simulator is a very complex game. We need a little expertise to be able to play it. However, the flight simulator is also an alternative way to practice flying a real plane. This is due to the demand of flight simulator enthusiasts who, although not many, but the demand is stable.
Because it has many benefits and excellence in its development, flight simulator does not seem to be extinct in the world of gaming. Although demand is stable, the popularity of flight simulators has been declining. This is caused by the high demand for game action. For games involving aircraft, the public prefers to play arcade-style flight games and shoot em up games. Online game also led to decreased popularity of flight simulators, because most players in the world this game is online game players, while the majority of flight simulator games is offline game.
To compete in the gaming business, flight simulator requires a new form in the gameplay - or who will play it. Basically, they who play flight sims are aircraft enthusiasts or aircraft experts like aircraft designers, flight instructors, and even aircraft manufacturers.
