1. Breach & Clear

This game is developed by Robert Bowling, the former designer of Modern Warfare. Moreover, it will be completely free, no in-app purchase. Maybe in the future, the game will have paid DLC, but all the money will be used for charity.

In this game, players will lead and direct the team to achieve all kinds of hard tasks, including arresting the terrorist mastermind. So what you need to do is play the commander, use the unique skills of every member of your team and finish the job.

It's a turn based strategy game, and the way you control your soldiers is super-clever. You control each unit's movement, and can give them commands to supplement their own individual AI.

2. Knights of Pen & Paper +1 Edition

As you see, this is the sequel of Knights of Pen & Paper and it’s not called Knights of Pen & Paper 2, which is the reasonable name for most of us, maybe because the game is an uncommon game originally.

As a retro RPG on iOS, Knights of Pen & Paper is never normal. The sequel will still keep the lovely pixel art. Players will be the players who are playing the tabletop game like D&D in Knights of Pen & Paper +1 Edition, so it’s like playing a game in a game.

You create the characters and you control them, you move characters in and out of your party. You can experiment with different player and class combinations. As more humor added in the game, the characters will have their own minds. They will have a very good talk when fighting, like if meeting a bunch of monsters, they will say “WTF” and other funny words.

The game will be “explore the dungeons”. Each dungeon has a boss battle locked behind a door, and a key hidden randomly in one of the rooms. It will come to PC, Mac and mobile platforms in early summer.

3. Festival of Magic

Norwegian developer Snow Castle Games released a new video of this game at GDC 2013. If you love JRPG, then you can’t miss this game. The protagonist is a boy who has the ability to use magic bullets and he has a pet, like I said, it’s a JRPG. The specific release time is not revealed by now, but it will come in 2013 and except for iPad, it also will be available for PC and Mac. Moreover, the developer has interests in Ouya, too.
