The Thrill of Playing 3D games
Gone are the days when gaming meant a PS 2 console. Today if an avid gamer is gifted one, he will probably roll on the floor laughing. For anyone with even the slightest inclination towards technology and gadgets will be fully aware that there is nothing quite as nice as having to duck debris from all sides as your avatar fights the bad men.
Yes, 3D gaming is the way of the future and it has made its way into our present fair and square. And quite honestly, compared to sitting in one place and tilt from side to side as your car races, playing 3D games is actually better. Because then you do end up getting a lot of physical activity as well. As the adrenaline rushes through your body and you suck in your breath and make that duck to avoid the falling stone, you do a lot more physically than you would have done in the days of sitting on your bean bag and exercising your thumb.
To be fair to gaming addicts, aka teenagers of today, it indeed is a fascinating world of games. To heave and lurch, to jump and duck, to anticipate and move or be killed (in the game!) is kind of a revisit to the childhood that they hear their grandparents speak of. After all, with vast open spaces and trees to climb, walls to jump over practically redundant today it is but natural for teenagers to then enjoy that which they have been born into, the world of gadgets and technology. Times have changed, preferences have changed. Technology is no longer something alien to any household. And to play 3d games is just the natural step up in the world of gaming gadgets.
Technically, a lot of research and development is being put into this field to make the playing of all 3D games an even nicer and fun filled experience and to draw more and more into its world. It’s a bright world of glasses and 3D play consoles that we can all look forward to. Soon very soon, I am sure with leaps and bounds it will find a market beyond the current niche populace as everyone discovers the pleasure of being in the car that wins the race. Vroom !
