Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin Locations

Now we are on World 3 in super Mario 3D Land. Getting closer and closer to the end of the main worlds. This Star Coin location guide will help you find all the coins you need while you run through the game. So let’s get started.

These are needed to unlock certain levels.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-1 – When you get into the level you will notice you are in a desert. In this desert a thing will try to eat you from under the sand. To the left you should see a water pool. Go to that and hit the P block outside it. Follow the notes and at the end you should get a Tanooki tail, assuming you grab all the notes. Then you should see a breakable block you can hit with your tail. Do so and use R to get underneath the temple thing. Grab the coin.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-1 2 – Jump in the cannon at the start of the level and look left. On the wall of the building you will see a platform with a star coin on it. It moves but once it stops at the bottom shoot to it.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-1 3 – After the check point and climbing the stairs that go back into the wall you will be in a room with a bunch of jumping rock face guys. At the end is a large one with a time clock to his left. Use a wall jump to get on top of him. On the right is a star coin. Wall jump to it.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-2 – This one is a couple minutes into the level. You will see the coin underwater through a gate. What you need to do is go to the other side where the three fish are constantly patrolling. Kill them if you want. You should see a cave like thing on the wall. Use that to get the coin.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-2 2 – Keep playing through the level and you will get to some giant puffer fish. They die in a fireball but at the end you will see an eel in a cave. Before him is a hole in the floor. Take that then take the pipe to get your next coin.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-2 3 – After the first eel you will see a second eel that shoots upward. You can fireball him to death if you want. You need to go up and up and out of the water. Once you leave the water you will see the coin over the pool. Jump and get it. Take the pipe and finish the level.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-3 – Early in the level you will see a ? block and a breakable block. Jump up to the top of the hill next to it and on the other side is a spin wheel. Use the tail to spin up to a pipe and take it. Now you have to be careful here. Jump on the first set of blocks then go to the end. Break the last one of the top row and wall jump up to it. Jump up to the coin.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-3 2 – From the check point you will have two choices on path. Left or right. Take the left path and go towards the time clock. Do wall jumps up to the top and at the top is the star coin.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide  3-3 3 – Once you get to the telescope use it to find Toad who is high up there above you. He will toss is out and it is easy to grab just keep going and jump to it.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-4 – Once you make it past the first set of tight ropes you will see a tree to the left. Use the orange block to start jumping up it. There is a clock and a star coin. You need to use the arrow blocks to make some steps. Push them up a bit then jump back on to them and do a flip to get the coin. Hold R then use the jump.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-4 2 – Once you take the ! box you will be back on a tight rope. Take the rope then push the arrow block until you can jump on to it and jump to the rainbow block. At the end of that path is a star coin.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-4 3 – Shortly after the check point you will come to giant swinging spike balls over the spikes. After the first one wait a second and flying ? box will appear. Jump on top of that and it will lead you to the star coin.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-5 – This one takes 15 star coins to open. As you go through the level you will see this coin above to breakable blocks. Simple jump to get it.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-5 2 – This next one is a tad tricky. You will see it in a spot where you would die if you fell. Let the platform fall then jump and grab it and you should make it. If you can;t do this try to grab the coin then fall on the enemy for the extra jump.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide 3-5 3 – After the check point you will come to a bunch of floating platforms that switch where they go so you need to move around to not fall. During that you will see the coin either jump or wait for a platform and grab it. Clear out the bugs if you need to.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide Pirate Ship – You will see this coin to the left right at the start of the level. It isn’t hard to get just avoid the giant metal spike that shoots out at you and jump over the gap to grab it.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide Pirate Ship 2 – Once you get to the spot with a wall of giant death spikes. Every two if a gap you can stop at. At the second gap go down and you will be on the platform near the star coin. Jump and grab it then jump back to not fall.

Super Mario 3D Land World 3 Star Coin location guide Pirate Ship 3 – After beating the boss(who is pretty much the same boss as before but with a moving floor) take the pipe. Once one the end of the line ship take the wooden platform at the edge of the ship(not sure what it is called). Walk out and grab the coin good job on beating the world.
