Throughout the game of Borderlands 2 you can complete many challenges for stat boosts. One of the challenges in the game is finding Vault Symbols. This location guide will help you find them all in Southern Shelf. So let’s get started!
Vault Symbol 2
Go back to the area where you used to the elevator to go up and buy a shield. Take it up and go out the back. You should see two cliffs on each side. If you look on the building you should also see a way on to the roof. Climb up the slope and then jump up to the top. I started jumping when the slope stopped going up and I made up it to the symbol and a chest.
Vault Symbol 3
Head over to Flynt’s bandit camp. You need to head up the ramps. Once you get to the ramp that has the arrow pointing up go up until you are on a platform. From here you can turn around and look up to see where you need to get. It is right above the area with the beds. In order to get up there you need to keep going and start to take the next ramp up. On the way up look to the left. You will see a room you can jump into. Jump in and follow it to the end. Now you should see the path that takes you over to the vault symbol. Jump the gap then walk on the tarp. Jump from the tarp to the next platform. The next jump looks long but if you sprint and jump you can make it. Look on the floor of that room to get the symbol.
Tip from Nelsen – Instead of doing the above, after defeating the boss, there is a large hole in the top left of the arena by clap trap’s ship, walking the metal beams until your in the far left corner closest to the end towards the ship, move slightly to the right to fall on the beam below and move forward, your at the location and its on the floor.
Vault Symbol 4 – Southern Shelf Bay – This area has two more symbols to get so w will grab them before we leave. First get to the zone then look at your map. You need to go all the way to the bottom and start to wrap around. right about the time you can wrap around there will be a half sunken ship. This ship has a checkpoint on it. On that right side of the ship cabin is the symbol.
Vault Symbol 5 – Southern Shelf Bay – If you look at the map and all the way to the right you see the end of the bandit camp. Head that way and once you get to the building that has odd looking circle supports check the outside walls. On the back you will find the symbol. You might have to jump and get it.
That will end the Borderlands 2 Southern Shelf Vault symbol location guide! Check back soon for updates!
