Lynchwood is the town where Jack’s girlfriend lives. She is the sheriff of the town and seems to be just as crazy as Jack. There are quite a few side quests here and this guide will help you beat them all. So let’s get started.
Alright I am going to give you all a tip I wish I had known about this place. They literally send you back and forth from the same two places multiple times. Constantly switching your quests to figure out if you can do two things at once will get you out of here MUCH quicker. Once you complete an objective switch your quest check the map and see if you are near any other way points. It should also be noted that the challenge popped up saying I hit 82/90 side quests while I was here.
This quest actually goes through a couple of zones but ends up in Lynchwood. Follow the way points until you finally arrive in Lynchwood. Now you need to go find someone echo recorder. Like I said be sure to check all your other quests in the area because you can do multiple around here. Once you finally get the echo recorder you have to go to the graveyard. This is of course on the other side of the map. Head over there check the grave and complete the quest. The smg is annoying and slows you way down.
Brick wants you to blow up the train that is carrying eriduim. Head over to the way point and hit the first switch. A small train will pop out and you will have to close the gate at the other switch to put a bomb in it. Once you do that head up to the detonator and wait until the small train is under the big train and blow it up. Easy enough.
Brick also wants you to rob the bank of Lynchwood. Go to the door and try to enter. Right like it would be that easy. You need to get a laxative first. It is up on the roof of the pharmacy. Use the roof on the other side to jump across and get it.Now you need to go find a named bandit and kill him. He of course is surrounded by other bandits so be ready for a fight. Kill him and grab the quest item. Now head over to the next way point and place the bomb and the laxative. A small skag will come out and eat it. You need to wait for him to drop a pile then you break it for the bomb. Mine was quick like within 10 seconds. Now go back to the bank and set the bomb. Once it blows enemies will start spawning and you need to kill them. Beat them all and the collect the money. Once you have the money head to the next way point and Brick will want you to hide the money. They are at three different way points. Other then the Sheriff’s posse attacking you it is pretty easy. I just used my rocket launcher on them. Bury all the money and you are done.
There are three quests from the small hurt skag. The first one has you getting him back to health.Go to the way point to get the medicine. You will need to go up on the other building and jump over to get to the quest item. Head back and give it to the skag. Now you will need to get his food. Go to the way points and grab the dead skags. Bring it back and drop it in the shoot and he will eat them and come out bigger. Turn it in and you can start the next part.
Now if you had this quest during the bank robbery quest you would have easily finished it. You need to get 5 skag tongues and the only skags I could get them off was the armored ones. Yet again I used my rocket launcher and finished this part no problem. If you haven’t done the DLC arena that came with the pre-order you really should. That rocket launcher is OP.
The last part of this chain quest is clearing out a mine for the skag. Follow him to the mine and head down. You will have to kill about 10 tunnel rats down there and then you beat the quest. Easy enough.
Finally you get to kill the sheriff. There is an optional objective to kill her with a pistol but this place had me so annoyed I just killed her with the rocket launcher. You need to avoid killing the deputy until after you kill her though.I went up and onto the building near where they spawn. I was looking down at all of them and they didn’t even notice me. I saw the Sheriff alone and I used two rockets and ended her. Once the quest said complete I killed the deputy and the others.
That will end the Lynchwood Side Quest Guide. Check back soon for more guides!
After Jack attacks Sanctuary your quest will lead to the Highlands. There are a few more side quests here and a tiny village. This guide will help you find them all and beat them in no time at all
