Important Unlocks:
The mission starts with a cut scene around a fire. After a while the characters will fall asleep. Some shadow “Risen” characters will interrupt your slumber. After a couple of minutes of awesome cut scene you will eventually get to the mission.
You will start in the top right corner of the map. There will be some abandoned forts around in this area. These abandoned forts can be used as a bonus in your defense against the Risen creatures. You will also gain some bonus health after the turn is over if you are in one of these forts.
Make your way across the battlefield and make sure to stick together. Do not let the Risen men have a strait shot to the healer, because she is pretty squishy and will die easily. After a couple of turns Sully and Virion will join the battlefield. They will pop in just a little bit south of where your characters originally spawned in.
These two new characters will join your party as long as they stay alive. An archer is really handy to have because they can attack from two squares away. Defeat all of the Risen creatures and make sure to use the ally bonuses to do it effectively. Eventually you can move on to the boss.
Be very careful with the boss, the Risen Chief. He is very strong and can take out most of your characters. The best way to take him out is to start with Frederick. Then your character can stand behind Fredrick and attack with magic. If you are playing on a harder level, you can then use the archer next to your character to stay two spaces away but to team up. Lastly you can use Chrom or another character to get a fourth hit with a combo next to Virion, the archer.
