The Paralogue missions in Fire Emblem: Awakening are side quests in Fire Emblem that allow you recruit powerful mixes of two characters. The 9th Paralogue of Fire Emblem: Awakening is full of confusion from Cynthia. This Fire Emblem: Awakening Paralogue 9: Wings of Justice Guide will go over a good strategy to beat this level and how to recruit Cynthia into your party. You will need to have Sumia married (probably to Chrom) and Chapter 13 beat for this mission to pop up. Important Unlocks:
It seems that Sumia’s daughter has a problem recognizing who the real Chrom is in this Paralogue mission. Your job is to convince her who the real Chrom is. Your forces will start at the bottom of the map. You get 13 allies, there is 23 ruffians and 10 mercenaries in the back. Your job is to make your way north.
While taking out enemies, know that the fake Chrom, is talking to the mercenaries that are on the north ridge. When he talks to them, they think he is the real Chrom and will fight for him. None of them are particularly strong, but their numbers added to the numbers of the ruffian force can make this a dangerous situation. Keep moving north at a decent pace.
The hardest apart this Paralogue, is actually recruiting Cynthia. You have to get to her and talk to her with Chrom. Unfortunately if one of your soldiers kills her, then it’s game over on recruiting Sumia’s child. Just put out a weaker character to lure her in. You can always try an archer, the only problem with that is if she attacks from two squares away an archer will destroy her. But up close they wouldn’t be able to counter.
Or you can try using a dancer and Chrom together as a different strategy to get in range of Cynthia. Move Chrom forward from just outside the range of Cynthia with the dance. Then you could move Chrom twice with the dance to get him close enough to talk to Cynthia before she can attack. This may take a couple of tries to get right and to successfully recruit Cynthia, but keep at it! She is a good character to have.
From there it should pretty much just be a slaughter fest. Make your way through the ranks and kill the boss. The quicker you get to the boss, the less forces he can recruit against you. When you get close, he will start to move to the back corner of the map. After finishing off the boss character and all of the enemies you will have completed Paralogue 9 and have an awesome new flying knight! It is a possibility that the boss will run off screen. This is unfortunate, but won’t actually hurt any of your chances in recruiting Cynthia, so it’s not really a big deal.
