Dead Island Riptide Guide: Team Quest Guide

Team Quests in Dead Island Riptide are a little different from the Side quests and you can access them all from the select menu. Scroll over to team and accept all the quests, they will want various components to upgrade their weapons. This guide will help you find all the rare parts and blow through these with no trouble at all. Let’s get started.

Dead Island Riptide Team Quest Guide

At the moment in the game you can reset areas by leaving and going back into them making the items respawn.

Upping the Odds for Xian 1
The first thing she will want from you is 6 blades, it says 3 but I couldn’t turn it in without 6. If you go to the gas station you can find a blade on a barrel near where you rescue Brian, for 6 of them enter the bungalow near there and exit, it will respawn each time you reload the area.

Upping the Odds for Xian 2
Now she will want 8 things of glue, these can be found in various containers and on enemies as well as bought from some shops.

Upping the Odds for Xian 3
For this one you will need 3 semiconductors which are actually kind of rare. What I did was went to James Nisira’s Bungalow and got three from there. Just enter grab the item leave and reset the area and come back in until you have as many as you need.

Best Merchandise for Wayne 1
First thing he will want from you is 3 watches. I wish I could have found a spot to find these watches but I couldn’t I just got them off zombies after doing tons of quests.

Best Merchandise for Wayne 2
Now he will want some Stingray tails, I haven’t got any of those yet so I will update it when I find some.

Best Merchandise for Trevor 1
He will want 6 wires for the first one, it says three but you need six. I found these while doing side quests in various crates and on dead zombies.

Best Merchandise for Trevor 2
He will now want 4 pieces of floater meat, kill any of the fat bloated zombies you find and take the meat. This one actually took me a bit of time.

Best Merchandise for Trevor 3
Finally he will want 3 Circuit Boards, these can be found on the abandoned movie set for the quest Genre: Horror Slasher, side quest guide is here.

Upping the Odds for Sam B 1
He will want 6 boxes of bolts for the first part. I bought mine from Zoey after I got her to level 2.

Upping the Odds for Sam B 2
Now he will want 7 large batteries which can be found on zombies and in various crates while you are questing.

Upping the Odds for Sam B 3
Last he will want 3 Propane cutters which can be found in the Abandoned Bungalow in the back, reset it by leaving and re-entering to get as many as you need.

Upping the Odds for Purna 1
She will want 6 engine parts for the first part. I couldn’t find a spot where it would spawn but i got lucky and could buy them from Trevor once I got him to max level. If you cannot buy them from him you can find them around Halai in various crates.

Upping the Odds for Purna 2
Now she will want 8 lighters which I found while questing. These are pretty common so it shouldn’t take you to long to find them. You can also buy them from Pierre, from the side quest fire sale. Thanks to Katy Naomi for pointing that out.

Upping the Odds for Purna 3
Finally she will want 3 titanium pipes, these are found in the Mataka Village bungalow, behind a fallen shelf.

Upping the Odds for Logan 1
Logan will want 6 belts for the first part. I found these while questing, if you upgrade the shops they will sell them from time to time.

Upping the Odds for Logan 2
Now he will want 7 clamps, which can be bought in Halai at the doctor once you complete he side quest.

Upping the Odds for Logan 3
Finally he will want 3 heavy-duty tape rolls, these can be found on the abandoned movie set. This is for a side quest called Genre: Horror Slasher, side quest guide here.

Best Merchandise for Zoey 1
She will want you to find 3 things of bleach, they can found on enemies and in various buildings or containers.

Best Merchandise for Zoey 2
Now she will want 4 Lp4000 batteries which can be found in various containers on the island. These are a bit more uncommon but still easily found while questing and searching for crates.

Jury-rigging for Henry 1
He will want 6 pieces of electronic scrap, which can be found in Halai to the left of Maggie and Rose below all the propane tanks. In order to reset it you must leave the jungle and come back. It can also be bought from Pierre, the guy from the fire sale side quest. Thanks to Katy Naomi for pointing that out.

Upping the Odds for Colonel Hardy 1
He will want 3 Weighted plates, which can be found in containers and on enemies you kill or in various crates.

Upping the Odds for Colonel Hardy 2
now he will want just a plain 7 batteries, these are easily found throughout the quests and I had more than enough to turn in.

Upping the Odds for Colonel Hardy 3
Finally he will want 3 Aluminium tubes which can be found in the lonely cave north of Marik’s Marina.
