Head over to the Orphans of Crookback Bog signpost and find the contract issuer, who will send you south west. You’ll probably have to fight Drowners on the way.
At the marker on the map you’ll find an illusion and tracks hidden by magic, as well as a corpse with claw marks.
Over at the abandoned hut you’ll find more corpses. Try not to hang around in the fog as it will sap your strength. It’s here you’ll realise Geralt is up against an old Foglet. A little further along you’ll find a fake rock covering the entrance to a cave.
In the right hand corner of the cave is a chest and corpse to loot, as well as a little Foglet. Don’t be fooled, this isn’t the guy you’re here to kill.
Foglets don’t like Moon Dust bombs, Necrophage Oil or Quen signs. The easiest method here is to protect yourself with Quen and push the attack. The Foglet will raise a shroud of mist which he can disappear into, so keep moving as it will try to ambush you when you can’t see it or stand still.
It can also create two Foglet illusions that need to be killed with a light hit. Just protect yourself with Quen and hit it hard and it’s a fairly easy fight even if you’re a few levels under the recommended level. Once the Foglet is dead, grab the trophy and head back to the shack.
Back at the shack the villager will give you a sob story about not having enough cash to pay you. Don’t take any shit from him and force him to pay up now. Quest complete!
