The Hatter has taken you to the final area where you can immediately see a Snout in need of peppering. Shoot it to reveal a steam vent that leads to a memory. Hop your way over to it, collect it then head for the main landing nearby. Head toward the door to raise it, allowing you passage. The Hatter is waiting on the other side. He jumps and starts working at opening the next door. Y9ou will have do deal with a number of Insidious Ruins while he does though. They are fairly easy so just keep slashing away. The fight concludes with a few more Insidious Ruins appearing with a single Malicous Ruin. Handle them however you desire.

When Hatter opens the door, follow him in, however stop at the first turn. There is a keyhole on your left with a memory at the other end. Shrink down and grab it, then follow Hatter farther down the corridor. He will be working at another door but if you head along the right-side of the room you will find a Spring Mushroom waiting to appear. Take that upwards, shrink to get through the hole in the wall, then circle your way around the room to ascend. When you are opposite Hatter, look to the left and up to find a Gauge. Pepper it to open the next gate that would be blocking your path. Shrink to get through this area and keep going to the left and up. You will eventually pass through a keyhole. Once you do, drop down to the floor of the room you emerge in and look for the weakened section to bomb it. Drop down the hole you create and pull the lever. Hatter will knock out a wall panel to clear your way out of the room. Pass through it to trigger a cut scene with a monstrous train. The Mach Hare and Dormouse grab the Hatter and you are left to face them alone … maybe not.

Alice awakens from Wonderland and is back in London. Run forward and the White Cat will appear again. Follow it to the right and into the Warehouse. Weave through the boxes and crates and exit the warehouse. Make your way farther out and you will find your way to your apparent destination, the Mangled Mermaid. When you try to go in, two people are blocking your way. Instead, head along to the right and try to head around the tavern. A brief scene happens as you head around it. Go into Mangled Mermaid and head for the stairs on the far side of the room. Take them and go through the one open door you see in front of you. Alice confronts the person who apparently attacked her Nanny. The assault triggers her return to Wonderland though.
