SWTOR Walkthrough - Tech Jealousy - Hutta

To find this mission, exit the Evocii Work Camp taking the road SW, then go South on another path. Locate the body of Dead Rodian laying near the path with a datapad near it. interact with the datapad to begin this quest. This is a level 5 mission.

The datapad says:
Nem'ro the Pulchritudinous has announced a Bounty!  It is unacceptable that Fa'athra has acquired advanced droid technology for gas mining. For any being who liberates a datacore from one of these terribly unfair droids and brings it to noble Doctor Terrab in the work camp, many credits await!

There are two red buttons on the bottom of the datapad display: "Close" and "Accept". Click on "Accept". Then open your mission log to get the full details for this quest:

Tech Jealousy
You discovered a dead Rodian bounty hunter who was apparently looking for one of Fa'athra's mining droids. A datapad found on the corpse indicated that Doctor Terrab, a researcher, would reward anyone who brought him a datacore from one of these mining droids. Go to the swamps south of the hostile Evocii village. Find and destroy a Fa'athra mining droid and loot the datacore from it.

Your task is to retieve a Fa'athra mining droid datacore. Open your map and locate the marker for the mission destination. It should be south/southwest of where you found the dead body. En Route the area, look out also for a glowing Evocii Totem (Lore Object) which will unlock a codex entry, "Renegade Evocii" and grant you some experience points. In the mission area, you will also sometimes find a boss -  a M-78 "The Harvester", lelve 5 Shockbot champion with 3175 health. Kill it if you can, as it can often drop a rare (green) weapon or armor.



At the mission spawn zone, start killing Fa'athra mining droids. These will used ranged attacks against you, but should not be very difficult to kill. When a yellow beam is emitted from the droid after it dies, it means it dropped a datacore. Loot it to complete the objective. Your mission log will then be updated:  "With the datacore in hand, find Doctor Terrab at the Voam Evocii Village" Your task is to report to Doctor Terrab. Find him at the Evocii camp to the NE of where the body and datapad were found. You tell him that you have come about Nem'ro's bounty on the advanced droid datacores. He thanks you, an unwelcome diversion from his work. He is trying to discover what allows these Evocii to survive despite the horrendous pollution. They don't exactly thrive but they are still here all these years later. He hypothesizes that... But you don't care, do you? He will examine the datacore for Nem'ro then return to the important work he is doing.

For the reward you receive credits, experience points, and a green piece of armor (in my case it was Hardweave Gloves). This completes the mission, Tech Jealousy.
