Tier 2
Disciple – Requirements: Finesse 6, Sorcery 6
Bonuses: +18% Elemental Damage, +7% Piercing Damage

“The sometimes fragile appearance of a Disciple masks a deadly assortment of skills that are usually employed from a safe distance. With this Destiny you excel at dealing element damage and piercing an enemy's armor”.

Good start with a boost to piercing (daggers and faeblades) and elemental spells. You can keep some pressure on enemies but it will get easier as you move further along this path. Not too bad for a mid-range, short range spellthief.

Tier 3
Arcanist – Requirements: Finesse 14, Sorcery 14
Bonuses: +22% Elemental Damage, +10% Piercing Damage, +5% Critical Hit Chance, Dread – Guaranteed to Critical against panicked foes, Blink – Short Range Teleport that replaces Dodge

“Able to teleport a short distance at will, the Arcanist practices a shadowy magic shunned and feared by others. With this Destiny your chance to deliver a critical strike is improved and you are guaranteed to do so when your enemies panic in dread”.

This classes adds two new things into the mix: Blink and Dread. Dread is good with the right spells and  gear. Blink is a great ability to begin with as you are simply not there and instantly somewhere else. This will only improve as you gain the ability to more deeper along this route of Destinies. You are more a spellwarrior.

Tier 4
Warlock – Requirements: Finesse 25, Sorcery 25
Bonuses: +26% Elemental Damage, +13% Piercing Damage, +7% Critical Hit Chance, +1 Mana Regeneration per second, Poison Blink 1 – Teleport with Poison effects.

“The Warlock excels at dealing different kinds of magical damage from afar, while teleporting out of reach. By embracing this Destiny, you regenerate your lost mana at a greater rate, and enchance your Blink ability with poison”.

You now poison nearby enemies now when you Blink away. This is something that is not to be under-estimated in the least. Not too much resist Poison so your life will be made a bit easier while you ned to move around.

Tier 5
Spellcloak – Requirements: Finesse 38, Sorcery 38
Bonuses: +30% Elemental Damage, +15% Piercing Damage, +10% Critical Hit Chance, +2 Mana Regeneration per second, Poison Blink 2 – Teleport with Poison effects.

“As a Spellcloak, you are a mysterious and evasive mage of the shadows. You imbue your every teleport with a poisoning effect, and utilize a varied array of grim tools to unleash havoc upon your foes”.

Your ability to poison merely by teleporting has been enhanced.

Tier 6
Shadow Caster – Requirements: Finesse 55, Sorcery 55
Bonuses: +34% Elemental Damage, +20% Piercing Damage, +12% Critical Hit Chance + 2 Mana Regeneration per second, Dread – Guaranteed Critical Hit against panicked foes, Poison Blink 3 – Teleport with Poison Effects, Drain Mana – Critical Hits Restore Mana

“With this Destiny, you are an adriot magic skirmisher, gracefully raining eldritch violence upon your foes. Your varied attacks deal deep and appalling wounds swiftly, without risking yourself at close quarters. Enemies die before they can profane your personal space”.

There is something nice about killing, with poison, by teleporting around. The addition of the Drain Hit (tied to critical hits) gives this some use of the critical abilities in the finesse tree. Mix in some good blast area of effect spells and you will be sending many to their maker.
