The Darkness 2: Vendettas Walkthrough Part 1 – Here's Johnny, Stop the Press

Immediately in front of you is a Talent Shrine but without any essence it does you no good. Head forward and to the left. As you approach the van in front of you, a number of mobsters will attack you. Move around and use this time to get familiar with your character. After you kill six of them, it is time to find the gate's electronic lock and break it.

Head to the left of the van. You will see another open area in the junk yard. Dash across the lighted part to reach the lock on the far side of it. Break the lock to open the gate. Head on through and it is time for more killing. There are four Mobsters in this area. Kill them then head to the right, between the building and the cars.

You will find the lock which you need to destroy. Once again you need to clear the area of hostiles. Head forward and to the right. You will see a small ramp. Take it up to find a generator which is powering the light above. Destroy it to keep the area in the dark and you at the advantage. There are two mobsters prowling the nearby garage. Kill them then head back in the scrap yard. There are three more mobsters around. If you head over to the right, none too far from the locked shack, you will find another generator which you can easily smash to darken more of the area.

Stop the Press
Again, right at the start is a Talent Shrine. Use it to upgrade your character some so you have more options. Now head to the left and across the rooftop. On the other side, before the stairs, you will encounter a mobster. Kill him and head up the stairs, dealing with his friend in the process. At the top of the stairs, go to the right, up the next set. At the top of those go straight and turn left to find the lock for the elevator. Destroy it and head into the elevator.

When the elevator stops, head to the far side of the room. Kill the two mobsters in there then head to the left. Head through the first opening on the right, down the corridor. You will find yourself in the printing room. Here you have five mobsters to kill. After that, return to the second floor, head to the far side and throw the switch to overload the circuit breakers.

Once you blow the circuit breakers, turn around and use the panel nearby to reroute the power. Once you do though, mobsters will attack from above and below. There are a good number of them so expect a fun fight. There are four above you and three below most of the time. This fight will last until you have killed about a dozen or so.

Now head over to the opposite side of the room, from where you overloaded the first circuit breaker, and repeat it. This will blow up the printing machine below you. You can now collect the Darkness Artifact sitting in the printing press. Before you do though, let yourself heal and collect any remaining hearts.

Once you are ready, collect the artifact and you will be attacked by Hellspawn. There are four of them in this round so be ready. Just kill them quickly to finish the mission.
