Twisted Metal Sweet Tooth Walkthrough Part 4: Watkyn's Harbor

This event is a sort of mini-boss battle against the semi truck Juggernaut, but at the same time it plays out similar to a traditional deathmatch as well. Basically, Juggernaut will traverse the Watkyn’s Harbor area regularly spawning more and more foes for you to take down. Every 90 seconds, more enemies will drive out of the deadly truck’s bed and join the battle against you. Every enemy on the map will have to be killed in order for you to progress, so your first order of business should naturally be to hunt down Juggernaut and put an end to him.

Unfortunately, Juggernaut doesn’t have a set path through the level. Every time you start up this match the hulking vehicle will begin in a different part of the map and take a different route around the level. He also will not show up on your radar. Luckily, you can find Juggernaut easily enough by scanning the horizon for his name as you drive. Just as each of your competitors has their name emblazoned over their heads during the match, so too will Juggernaut. His will be easily distinguishable from the others by the constantly diminishing timer underneath of it. This timer counts down to the next time he will spawn enemies into the level, so try to take him out before it can reach zero too many times.

You should also be sure to have a vehicle equipped with some heavy defenses before tackling the Juggernaut  vehicle. If you’re driving a fast but weak car like Kamikaze, best head to a garage on the way to confront Juggernaut. Outlaw is a good choice here, as it is slow but dependable in a firefight. Once you have Juggernaut’s tag in your sights and a worthy vehicle at your fingertips, peel across the landscape as quickly as possible to make a beeline for the enemy. All of the other cars in this level will try to stop you from destroying Juggernaut. If any of them see you as you make your way towards Juggernaut, they will spin around and attack. Ignore them and keep driving. If you pass any weapon pickups, try to grab them on your way.

Once you reach Juggernaut, you can go about the battle in several ways. This enemy has three weak spots, two of which are only accessible at certain points in the battle. The primary weak spot is directly in front, on the glowing red grill. This point can be difficult to hit, though, as you will have to be moving pretty much directly at the boss in order to hit it with most weapons. Ramming Juggernaut will do you little good, as the mammoth truck is so heavily armored that merely touching it will damage you. This goes for time spent rubbing up against the side of it, as well; any time you are making physical contact with Juggernaut, you will be taking at least slight damage. With this in mind, pepper the front grill with some machine gun fire or Homing Missiles and dodge to its side. Use the handbrake to pull a 180 and pull up alongside it.

Juggernaut will drop circular mines in addition to enemy vehicles. If you’re driving alongside or behind the enemy, watch out for these. They’re not highly damaging one by one, but hitting several of them in a row can put you out of commission easily enough. Combined with the gunner perched on the trailer of the truck, and Juggernaut is pretty well-defended. This doesn’t mean that he’s impossible to kill, however. Driving alongside the truck, watch for the side doors to open when it is about to spill its mines across the ground. Shoot inside of the trailer when it opens to score big damage. An easy way to do this is to fire Homing Missiles or a Sniper Rifle right when it opens, allowing the tracking systems to do most of the heavy lifting.

If Juggernaut sticks to the open roads, this confrontation will be relatively simple. The enemy truck has numerous defenses, but they’re nothing you can’t dodge with a few precise powerslides and turns. Even if the enemy vehicles catch up to you and attempt to dissuade you from your attack, you should be able to loop around the area while boosting to lose them before coming back out to cut of Juggernaut. If, however, the random path of the enemy takes him through the enclosed sewers under the factories on the surface, you might be better off leaving the battle for another time. These areas are quite small, and Juggernaut quite large, and combined with the fact that you take damage for merely touching the hulking semi, this can make for a quick loss. Time your shield uses very carefully if you venture into this underground arena.

After destroying Juggernaut, all you have to worry about is the remaining enemies that he was able to spawn before you killed him. If you were able to take him out of commission fairly quickly, you won’t have many enemies to worry about in this section. If not, you will just have to be a little more careful when mopping them all up. The aforementioned sewer systems provide a great array of weaponry, including Power Missiles, Homing Missiles, Fire Missiles, and the Ricochet, while the two factories on the east and west sides of the map, Petrolco and Diamant, contain health pickups along with some pretty decent weaponry. You can find ramps to the roofs of these facilities to the southeast and northwest, in Petrolco and Diamant respectively. As these are the only way up to the roof, they can make for a great chokepoint if you are followed. From here, mopping up the remaining competition should be a synch.
