Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Walkthrough Part 16 – The Great General

Head into the Cradle of Summer and into the southwestern part of it to begin the next quest. Talk with the General to get things moving. Talk with her to learn more about the battles she has been in and something about the land's conflict.

Once you finish talking with her and have the chime, head east to the first of them. Strike it with the chime and a Bloodhunter will come after you. Kill it then return to the General. It is time to now transverse the plains to strike the four remaining Wind Chimes.

Head back to the Forsaken Plain and got to the northern part of the western section. There you will find the second chime, which is sitting at the very northern edge of it. Strike it with the chime and you will face two Bloodhunters. Defeat therm and it is time to start moving for the next one.

The third chime is in Tala-Rane in the central eastern portion. This one is guarded by three Tuatha Raiders. Dispatch them then strike the chime against it. This will summon two more Raiders and likely get the attention of any nearby hostiles as well.

Now make your way east into Kandrian. There is a good bit of resistance so be ready for plenty of fighting en route. Once you are there though, just keep to the western edge to easily reach the chime. There, strike it to face two pairs of Niskaru. Just one chime left now.

Head to the north now, into Acatha. You will find the Windstone to the south of Tirin's Rest. Ring the chime and you will be attacked by a Bloodhunter and a Tyrant. Defeat them the return to Urul-Tusk. There General Tilera will be grateful for your efforts and it is time to head into the ruins themselves.

Urul-Tusk
Start going to the west. When you reach the middle of the bridge you will be attacked by three Hunters. Kill them to move forward. In the next chamber you will encounter another trio of them. If you look to the south of the passage you came in, you will find a locked chest with some goods inside it. After you clear out the Niskaru, you can find another locked chest in the southeastern corner of the room. Head down the stairs and through the door into the next part of Urul-Tusk

At the bottom of the stairs, in the next large chamber, you will encounter another trio of Niskaru Hunters. Search the altar to find another chest then head to the south. The path will turn west then north. Only a little ways after it does, you will find some Giant Rats to deal with. Continue to follow the path as it winds north. Head into the next chamber and there you will find four Giant Rats.

When the passage turn to the east, be sure to search the room as there are two locked chests in it. Approach the door leading to the east and push the Sigil stone that is to the left. Descend the steps to encounter a pair of Niskaru Hunters then head to the north. You are nearly there now.

Head through the final corridor to the north. You will enter a giant chamber with the Spear in the center. As the General tries to pull the spear, you now need to defend her from the Niskaru. The first wave consists of two Hunters. The second brings it up to three Hunters. After them comes Azaghaal. This one handles very much like a Tyrant, favoring its enlarged arm for ranged attacks, its breath weapon and tendency to pelt you at range with energy balls. If you see it gather energy around its body, just run away to avoid the blast that will emerge from it in a few seconds.

Defeat it and you will be graciously thanked by General Tilera. Follow Tilera to the east to find the way out.
